Porcelain veneers

Very thin porcelain layers can be applied to the front surfaces of teeth in your smile line to create your desired smile. In many cases little or no tooth reduction is needed, as current technology allows veneers as thin as 0.3 mm.

Which teeth can receive veneers?

  • They can be applied to discoloured teeth.
  • Veneers may be used for discolouration caused by tetracycline antibiotics, fluorosis, loss of tooth vitality, ageing or wear.
  • They may be used on root-treated teeth when whitening does not achieve the desired result.
  • Veneers can be used to close gaps between teeth.
  • Veneers can improve the appearance of teeth with an irregular shape, for example by giving narrow or pointed teeth a more rounded appearance.
  • They can be applied to teeth with developmental or acquired enamel damage.
  • They can improve the appearance of front teeth with extensive fillings.
